Flight Training
Full Time CPL Course
Enrolment in Sunland Aviations full time CPL course of aviation, gives you the option of achieving a Commercial Pilot Licence after only 150 hours (CASA minimum). With the 150 hour course, the theory and flying training are closely coordinated, you will need at least 150 hours flying experience with specific time as pilot in command, cross country and instrument flight time.
Before you can attempt the CPL test you must pass a theory examination at Sunland Aviation.
Passing the CPL test and being issued with the licence entitles you to carry passengers for hire or reward, in association with a licensed air service operator.
PPL & Recreational Flying
Completion of the PPL course will allow you to fly anywhere in Australia. Some pilots use the P.P.L. Licence as an alternative to spending long hours on the road; others simply fly for pleasure or as a business tool.
There are approximately ten navigational flights outlined in the PPL course up to three hours duration. As with the GFPT, the time needed to complete the training for the PPL will vary between individuals, and once again it will be primarily dependent on the amount of time you have available for training. Full-time, it could be completed within 5 weeks (weather dependent).
Ratings & Endorsements
Sunland Aviation offers training for a number of Ratings and Endorsements including Night VFR, Command Instrument Ratings and Instructor Ratings.
